Wolfsbane
This is the new restaurant from the husband and wife team previously at Lord Stanley. I didn’t want to try them at their very first week so I waited all the way until their second week to book this reservation (I know, I am so virtuous with patience, haha). We had only eaten once at

Cotogna
Jacob scheduled a dinner meeting with a vendor. Even though Dreamforce is going on, he was able to get us table since his cousin works at Quince. We ordered a bunch of starters to share – the Heirloom Tomato Caprese, Squid, Cranberry Bean & Calabrian Chili, Bluefin Tuna Crudo as well as a Porcini Mushroom

Nari
We were already in the Hotel Kabuki for Sake Day, I had planned for us to eat at Nari which is also in the hotel and also one of Andrea’s favorite restaurants. This was our 5th time here and we usually get the chef’s pick menu, but this time we decided to go a la

Sake Day 2025
We haven’t been to SakeDay for who knows how long (can’t confirm in my e-mails), back when it was originally held in Hotel Nikko downtown. When we first parked about an hour before the event, we could see the line was about 50ish people deep already. We didn’t have much interest in just standing in

Sorrel
Dinner event hosted by one of our VARs at Sorrel. We attended this same event 2 years ago and had definitely enjoyed both the food, the discussion by the panel, and talking to our fellow diners at the event. This time though, Andrea was sick so I ended up going solo. My account manager, reminded

Copra
This was our fourth time here at Copra. We ate here when they first opened and our last visit was last year for a champagne maker dinner. This time we came for Onam Sadya. My understanding is that sadya is a celebratory lunch, typically vegetarian, from the Kerala region of India and onam is the

Firefly
We were lazy and didn’t want to get groceries and cook so I started looking for someplace to eat out. So we ended up going to Firefly since it’s close and we’ve generally enjoyed the food when we’ve gone. Andrea started with the Baby Lettuce Salad and I had the Grilled Daikon Radish which we

La Lucha Coffee
We wanted a little pick me up so we stopped in at this coffee shop on Sanchez St. Andrea’s been a few times, but it was my first time since I normally don’t go our for coffee. Andrea got a latte and I got a matcha latte with oat milk. Decent and very friendly workers.
