Larry reached out to for something and so we realized we need to catch over lunch. I suggested we try the burgers at Niku Butcher Shop which I’ve been meaning to try for awhile now. You have to wait out front until they call you so that they only have one group in the shop

United Club Lounge – LHR Terminal 2, B1
Lounge was fortunately right across from our gate and the Centurion Lounge was in another terminal. This was a decently sized lounge with tasteful decor. Food offerings looked decent enough, but I only had yogurt and fruit anyhoo (plus we’d get food on the plane)

Dukes Bar
Met Trisha for martinis at Dukes. Seating is walk-in only. We were told there was going to be an hour wait to get in and fortunately it was closer to 30 minutes. This is place is all about the martinis. Seating is in cushy velvet couch and chairs. Martinis are made in front of you
