Eggs, truffle, leftovers for breakfast
It looks a bit of a mess, but put together leftovers for lunch/brunch. I fried a couple of eggs that have been sitting in the container with the truffles since Wednesday, reheated the mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts from the other evening, and covered liberally with the last of the truffles. Not the prettiest plate,

Fonduta, Truffle, Barolo
Truffle dinner #4 (and probably last for this round): fonduta with some crostini and broccolini and a tasty 2009 barolo.

Wako

Andrea Setterholm was the only non-Asian in the restaurant, surely a good sign . Ingredients were excellent (sourced from Japan(of course), Spain, and Turkey). Meticulous preparation and great flavor profiles. So

SPQR
I’ve been meaning to eat here for awhile and so I made a reservation for after watching Star Wars (my third viewing) at the Kabuki. We had, what I would say, were the best seats (for us) in the restaurant at the chefs counter. It was great to see the cooks and chefs in action.
