Saison

A belated birthday dinner for my sister. I ate here last month in the salon (I.e. bar), but the full tasting experience at what was the best table in the restaurant (the same when I ate here for the first time years ago) right next to the kitchen:. The entire staff and Liz once again took very good care of us and we had such a fantastic experience.

The ingredients, the preparation, and of course the flavors were all so interesting and enticing. The warm caviar course to start was amazing and it just continued from there. The wagyu presentation was very good. The uni dish (Fort Bragg uni) was very tasty. The duck four ways was great. The aged carrot (which was reminiscent off a vegetarian hot dog) was interesting. The amberjack two ways, with one where you put the bite together was good. Even the palate cleanser was tasty. Dessert, a play on pineapple upside down cake was delicious.

We really enjoyed the food, the wine, the service. Thumbs up.
