Quince
This week’s dinner was at Quince which was a favorite of ours. I think this was our 5th or 6th time here, but it’s been 2 years since we’ve been back and the first time since they renovated. The renovations took pretty much the whole year last year. The space is much more open and

Madcap
We were supposed to do a low key dinner this week because we had Andrea’s dinner last week and mine next week, but she was supposed to be in San Raphael this afternoon and I’ve been having to eat at this restaurant in San Anselmo. Of course, her appointment needed to be rescheduled and we

Californios
It was Andrea’s birthday so I booked dinner at her favorite restaurant Californios. This is our 5th timing dining here and it 4th time since 2022 (first time we ate at their previous location when they were still in the Mission). We last ate here in November, before it trip to Mexico City and Oaxaca,

Dalida
For tonight’s dinner, we went to Dalida. We’ve been meaning to eat here for a few months, but I’ve had to keep pushing out the reservation, but we finally made it. Mister Jiu’s
I wanted to revisit Mr. Jiu’s since we hadn’t been here since pre-pandemic 2020. We started with some cocktails which were….just ok. They kind of seemed

Copra
Andrea had been working so much so I was looking for something that would be a bit of a reward for all of that. We enjoyed all of our meals at Copra and they had a special winemaker dinner with Clémence of Champagne LeLarge Pugeot . The dinner was communal seating, but it really only

Movida
This week, we wanted to try something a little different so we went to Movida, a lounge/restaurant not too far from the ballpark. The cuisine was a fusion of Mexican and Persian cuisine which was unique and sounded interesting. The lounge opened up last October and recently received a mention in the latest Michelin guide.

Nisei
This was a sort of a last minute, same day reservation…we were having our taxes done and figured we might as well go out and eat. There were a couple new restaurants I wanted to try, but they weren’t open for dinner on Sunday. I’ve been wanting to come back here to Nisei (japanese born

Sons & Daughters
MI/CDS peeps, look at the fossil I dug up to join me for dinner, John Lee (no he’s not here on FB). He’s here for a conference and was free this evening for dinner so he reached out. We talk regularly on Zoom, but we have not seen each other in person in over 35
