Dinner with our new friends from Germany who we’re hosting for a few days. We had an excess of food as usual at A16 which is someplace I’ve been meaning to try for a long time.
Solid, traditional Italian cuisine. We were seated in the small back patio area. Some Italians dining back there and our waiter was as well. It felt just a bit like we had been transported back to Italy which was great.
We started with the burrata, some prosciutto and then a couple of pizzas to share and then our entrees. Andrea had the orcchiette with lamb sausage (yum), Paula had the Paccheri, and I had the pork chop with peach (have to be honest…I prefer the pork chops we make at home…). Much food was consumed by all and much food was taken back home to be consumed another day!
