Brunch at Jean’s
We were staying at Jean’s place and had gone to the Coldplay concert thanks to Jean. We all slept in a bit the next morning after that late night. I went for a beautiful run in the area and worked up an appetite. Jean made some delicious egg, canadian bacon, english muffins and cheesy hashbrowns.

Butterbird
We headed over near Camp Randall Stadium where we would be attending the Coldplay concert. We had some time to kill beforehand so ended up going to Butterbird for an early dinner. With all of the people there for the concert and it being a Saturday evening every dining place was very busy including here.

L’Etoile
I was interested in going to this restaurant because when I was researching restaurants in Madison, this was basically described as the Chez Panisse of Madison. The restaurant was originally opened in 1976 (just 5 years after Chez Panisse) which is 49 years ago (or as Andrea says “it’s been open forever!”). I was looking
