#33 old folks early dinner booked last minute. a very enjoyable meal overall. There wasn’t a tasting menu and wine pairing (we couldn’t remember the last time we ate at a Michelin Star restaurant that didn’t have a tasting menu) but it worked out great where they accommodate us and just shared all of our dishes. We went with the velouté, pork belly, raviolo with white truffle (lucked out since they just received a shipment of white truffles from Alba two days ago), the venison, and the lemon tart and the beignets for dessert. The cocktails were very well made and tasty. The sommelier gave us great recommendations for wine – a half bottle of Riesling with the first two courses, a barbaresco with the raviolino and truffle, and a half bottle of vosnee-romanee with the venison. They actually served us the wrong wines with the raviolino (they gave us a Nebbiolo instead so they comped is on that. Overall, an enjoyable meal.
