Lunch today at Septime. Looks so unassuming outside and in which belies the quality of the food. The made the most of their ingredients to develop flavors esp. in the sauces which were always rich, seasoned, and layered. I think Andrea and Trisha’s favorite dish was the tomato dish with several preparations of the tomato and a very tasty sauce. I liked the sweetbread dish with such a rich tasting sauce. Dessert was delicious and not overly sweet with we appreciated. Aperitifs Sasha wine pairings were interesting and unique. This was probably our favorite meal out so far thanks to the very consistent execution of each dish. Trisha and Andrea laughed that my biggest “complaint” was the chunky spoon used to serve the starter, lol
