Gott’s – Ferry Building

One of Andrea’s ex-coworkers, Susan B., was in town so she put together a small get together with some of the ex-coworkers. We met up at Gott’s in the Ferry Building. Was quite crowded as all Saturdays are here (esp. since the farmer’s market is going). Gott’s did handle taking orders very efficiently and then you just had to wait for your order to eventually come up. There seemed to be plenty of seating thanks to all of the outside seating in addition to the indoor seating. It was a perfect day and it was nice for everyone to catch up.

I had the California Burger (Fried egg, gruyère cheese, Zoe’s bacon, arugula, balsamic onions & mayo on a toasted sesame brioche bun) and Andrea had a Cheeseburger with some bacon added. I also ordered a side of sweet potato fries. Pretty decent although there was too much bun so I ended up discarded big chunks of the top bun (I should have ordered it with a lettuce wrap instead). I also liked the St. Augustine hot pepper sauce they had at the condiment station and used that liberally on my burger. Sweet potato fries were chili spice-dusted and a side of house-made ranch and were pretty tasty (although not much heat from the chili) but a bit soggy and flabby.
