This was our last full day in London before we heade off to Barcelona. We didn’t want to be out late for dinner since we had to pack, so I looked for someplace for lunch and found this place (plus we still wanted to go to the National Portrait Gallery). We got a late start

Trisha had been wanting to try this place for late breakfast and we were game. I made a reservation at the counter (we always like to see the cooking action) and seats at the corner so the 3 of us could all speak to each other more easily. It was nice that they had perfectly

This was a recommendation from my coworker (I think she went to the Soho location though which is the one listed in the Michelin Guide). We waited for them to open which was good because it did end up filling up fairly quickly (was packed by the time we left). They had a special called

One of my coworkers had recommended this place and we stumbled onto it while we were wandering around Borough Market. These custards much more creamy and not quite as eggy and I absolutely loved them. https://santanata.com/

This is the new restaurant from the husband and wife team previously at Lord Stanley. I didn’t want to try them at their very first week so I waited all the way until their second week to book this reservation (I know, I am so virtuous with patience, haha). We had only eaten once at

Jacob scheduled a dinner meeting with a vendor. Even though Dreamforce is going on, he was able to get us table since his cousin works at Quince. We ordered a bunch of starters to share – the Heirloom Tomato Caprese, Squid, Cranberry Bean & Calabrian Chili, Bluefin Tuna Crudo as well as a Porcini Mushroom

Vendor dinner in the private room upstairs. Glasses of Billecart-Salmon champagne to start. Hors d’oeuvres were quite good. The caviar on the blini featured caviar hybrid kaluga (my favorite) from Petrossian. Other hors d’oeuvres included one made with sunchoke, one with beef tartare and a gruyere puff with truffle (don’t recall where it was from).

We ate here last time we were here with my parents in January and wanted to come back again, this time with Trisha (Ginny was meeting up with her friends and doesn’t like dim sum anyway). We started with a couple of the salads – Seaweed & Beancurd Salad and the Cucumber Salad. I like
