Bones Bagels

Finally went back back here to get the bagel dog which I’ve wanted to do ever since we first visited. Andrea got the Veggie bagel sandwich with an every bagel and I also picked up a Brown Butter Pecan Cookie. The bagel dog was of course pre-cooked and was just sitting on a rack when I ordered it. With the bagel dog, the dog almost mostly covers the dog so it is basically an oversized pig-in-blanket. The dog had a tiny bit of heat to it and i did really like the bagel itself, but overall this was disappointing and I would not get it again.

Andrea’s veggie sandwich looked quite cololrful with the tomatoes and cucumber. it seems like some ingredients were missing from what they had listed on the menu and we had also ordered chili oil drizzle for $0.50 which they seem to have missed. But all in all, this was pretty good although I’d personally still rather get the smoked salmon bagel sandwich.

The primary redeeming feature of both orders was the bagel itself which is a sourdough bagel. It’s not nearly as dense as many bagels and some may question whether it is truly a bagel, but it definitely works for me as well as many others given the lines they have on the weekends.

The pecan cookie was pretty good. It was moist and big chunks of pecan.
