Mr. Pollo

For this Thursday’s dinner, we went very lowkey. It about 1.25 mile walk from our hous and located right near the 24 and Mission Bart station. It’s called Mr. Pollo and you’d think it was a latin restaurant that served chicken, but it’s small restaurant with probably the least expensive tasting (i.e. prix fixe) menu in SF at $45/person for a four course meal. The had the restaurant set up to shoehorn, er seat, 11 people which included 2 at the chef’s counter seating.

First course was a string bean salad. Second was a chorizo arepa (yum). Third was a pork tagine with sweet and sour onion, quince, pomegranate. Lastly came a french apple cake. We were in and out in just over an hour, which was great for a quick and easy meal.

I really hate the name of this restaurant, but the chorizo arepa looks delish, and I am not the biggest fan of arepas in general.
