Wednesday’s dinner courtesy of Steven was at Esther’s kitchen. Nice cocktails – I had a refreshing seasonal tequila and carrot juice based drink. Food was generally tasty. Grilled peaches was a nice starter. The bread and the butters were good, but not spectacular (give me some Tartine country loads or some Acme…). The tuna starter was meh. Both the hate dishes though were delicious and different- the tagliatelle with the pork and mushroom bolognese was delicious (and nicely salted). The tortellini with the red pepper sauce was a very nice contrast and very tasty as well. All in all, a very nice meal.
