This was my first opportunity to try a Chase Sapphire Lounge having not previously travelled to an airport with one of them. Lounge is located between B and C terminals which worked out perfectly since I was flying United in terminal C and Bella and Matthias were flying JetBlue in terminal C. TL;DR this is the nicest lounge I’ve been to short of the Virgin Upper Class lounge in LHR.
First off, the space is shiny and new and not crowded at all, at least while we were there (granted, this was a Saturday mid-day). You can either order food via barcode which allowed for some customized ordering (e.g. Bella doesn’t like pickles, etc.). I had ordered the Sam Adams beer available (it was a special brew of some kind), the beef sandwich, and some fries. The beer was great. The sandwich was kinda sad looking (I did appreciate a moderate sized serving), but tasted ok and fries were decent enough.
The buffet provided everything in individual servings rather than the the cattle call of a buffet. I only had a cookie from the buffet side, but it certainly looked quite good.
There were other amenities available in the lounge such as showers and massage chairs of which I did not partake, but overall I was quite impressed with the lounge and very worth it if you have a Sapphire card and are traveling in an airport with one of their lounges.
