We had a layover in MDW on our way to CVG. The wait was too long to get into The Club MDW, but we saw this place in the foodcourt. It was all about cheese so of course we had to try it. We ordered at the self-serve kiosk – mac & cheese, grilled cheese with roasted turkey and tomato, and some tomato soup. That was the easy part. Food was barely coming out of this place…maybe 2 people served in 20+ minutes. There were at least 2 people up front and someone in back. Somehow they couldn’t get any food out.
At about 25+ minutes in, they finally started calling some, but they were all over the place. They said it was going to be awhile for mac & cheese even. They eventually started serving mac & cheese only. Finally 30+ minutes in, they started calling out some food. They passed my number so I went up to counter. Other people were asking about their number and then they just had it on the counter, but never called it. They gave me mine, but I told them I also had mac & cheese and tomato. they got my the m & c, but forgot the tomato. So I had to go back again and they finally go that sorted out. What a horribly incompetent and surly group working there.
