We hadn’t got grocery shopping, so we decided to eat out for lunch. We hadn’t been to Dumpling Kitchen in awhile. We ordered the Pea Sprouts w/ Garlic (one of Andrea’s favorites), Steamed Soup Pork Dumplings (i.e. XLB. I suppose they “Americanized” their menu a bit), BBQ Beef Ribs (to try something different) and the Pan-Fried Spicy Beef Potstickers. Pea shoots were ok, although a bit oilier than I remember. XLB were fine although perhaps a bit on the large side and the dough isn’t particularly thin so not quite as delicate as other places. Beef rib was ok. The tomato and broccoli were there to provide some color, but were completely bland. Beef potstickers were only so-so. They were very voluminous and I didn’t really care much for the beef filling and it wasn’t even spicy. Overall it was ok at best. Not a great dumpling spot, but a convenient one for us.
