Another great day of tasting. First we had an appointment at the Vosne Tasting Club where we were literally the only ones there. They have this beautiful tasting room in a cellar where they serve and sell wines that we’ll not easily find back home. We enjoyed all five of the wines we tasted I’m and for me the most eye opening wine was the 2011 Batard-Montrachet because it had a sweet smelling nose to it but tasted anything but and still had good acid and a very long finish. Andrea really enjoyed the Charme-Chambertin, but we really did enjoy each one and bought at least one bottle of each and then some.
