For our first outing here in London, we took the tube to Mayfair and walked around there a bit. We eventually got “thirsty” and stopped in at the Ritz to grab a drink at their bar. Quite a few people at the Ritz were dressed up and here for afternoon tea.
Trisha ordered the Serenity (gin, matcha, lavendar, lemon juice), Andrea ordered the Viridis (tequila, rhubarb syrup, ancho reyes, lime), and I went festive with their Noël (Grand Marnier Cuvée Louis-Alexandre, campari-infused dates, chocolate distillate, and Disaronna (a type of amaretto)). All were different and delicious in their own. Andrea’s definitely had a little heat to it. I was expecting mine to have a more cloying chocolate flavor and I was very glad that it was much lighter than that.
