Andrea and I walked around a bit Hampstead and wanted to go to a pub. So we went to The Holly Bush (which we would later see it shown briefly in Notting Hill when we rewatched it). The bar was packed, but we lucked out and ended up in this little nook in the bar. We started with a couple local beers (London Pride was one of of them). They were both decent. For round 2, I went with the mulled wine and Andrea had the Guinness. I ordered the mulled wine since it seemed to be popular and I don’t know the last time I had one and it was surprisingly good. The warm spiced beverage was very fitting for the chilly weather. I haven’t had a Guinness in a very long time. I was expecting it to be richer and perhaps it suffered a bit because it was served so cold.
