A quick lunch at the Tate Modern. Since our reservation was well after noon, all the window tables were taken and we were about 3 rows away, but it was still a nice view of the area around the Thames.
I ordered a wedge salad for us to share. I know iceberg lettuce has no nutritional value, but I do have to admiy it is cool and crisp and refreshing. Of course, it came with blue cheese and bacon which are heavy components to balance it out, lol.
For our mains, Andrea went with the Jerusalem artichoke & Wensleydale souffle, Trisha had the hake with a celeriac & cider butter sauce, and I had the duck with lentils and carrots. nothing particularly special, but it was super convenient for attending.
