We were at the SWEA Christmas Fair at Saint Mary’s, mainly for the crafts and the concert and not so much the food, although we did buy just a little bit. There were various Swedish food for sale including bottles of Glögg, bread, pastries, and candy. We did buy one of the Swedish buns, which was very meh and also had the a cup of Swedish Glögg, spiced mulled wine, which was ok and ginger snaps (just plain packaged). We did also buy a loaf of Swedish Limpa orange-rye bread that we’ll have to try as well as some Nordic fiber rich powder and oatmeal. In the dining area, they were also mass producing and serving Swedish waffles, meatballs, lox, hot dogs, but that wasn’t exactly the right venue to find good food to eat and we were really here for the crafts, culture, and concert (how’s that for alliteration). Maybe we should go grab dinner over at one of my favorite restaurants, Sons & Daughters that servers modern Nordic cuisine!
