We just wanted a quick bite before we had to meet up for our Mauna Kea tour, so we just popped into the Island Gourmet Market at Queen’s Marketplace and just bought food at the deli and brought it back to the condo since seating (only a few tables) was full at the deli and it’s only a 5 minute drive. I had the Kalua Pork Loco Moco with sunny side up eggs and Andrea had the Famous Burger with curly fries. The loco moco was pretty much what you’d expect from a loco moco. They also gave me a healthy amount of the Kalua pork. I did eat all of the pork and eggs, but only ate as much rice to mop up the brown gravy. Andrea’s burger was pretty decent too (although she took the pineapple slice off of it so it was basically just a bacon cheeseburger). This was definitely better than the ramen place we went to the other day also here in the plaza.
