We were in Hampstead so went to this place that Trisha liked. I was kind of glad to get a lighter meal and Japanese is always a good go to for me.
It was a cold day, so nice to start with some miso. I ordered the salmon maki to start, Andrea ordered the vegetable futomaki, and Trisha ordered a grilled eggplant. In retrospect, not sure why I ordered the maki because my main would be enough. I especially liked the eggplant which had a sort of miso teriyaki and sesame seeds.
For mains, I ordered the chirashi donburi, Andrea and Trisha had the flatiron steak donburi. My chirashi was actually a little bit better than average IMO with a good amount of fish and great variety. It all tasted very fresh.
