We were running errands on Valencia and I’ve been interested in going here since I already know I like their beer. We went with a flight of 6. I wanted to do all the limited edition beers on the menu, but of course those were all sold out already. They did have one other one, Ganada, which was a Jasmine Rice Lager. I also aded the KSA (Kölsch Style Ale), Westfalia (Nuremberg Red Ale), and the three IPAs – Villager (San Francisco style IPA), Lobos (Hazy IPA), and Animal (Tropical IPA). We also ordered a Green Goddess Dip vegetable plate.
The Ganada was very light. The description of the beer says it was a collab with San Ho Won. Could see drinking this on a hot day or with hot food, but otherwise, it was not particularly interesting due to the very mild flavor. The Westfalia was the darkest of the beers and was a rich and malty, so this was Andrea’s favorite. We enjoyed all of the IPAs and I kept going back and forth between the SF Style and the Hazy as my favorite.
Not bad for a pit stop while doing errands!
