Morning was tour and tasting at Chateau Meursault (located in Mersault of course). We tasted 8 wines (3 whites and 5 reds) four of which were premier cru and one grand cru). I liked the Pommard the best since it was so full bodied and tasted of dark fruit and Andrea’s favorite was the Corton which was quite elegant (this was my second favorite and the Pommard was Andrea’s second) so we bought 3 of each. What was surprising was the Marc de Bourgogne, which was very strong in the dessert (as well as in the taste we had afterwards) we had a couple nights ago, but this version aged 14 years was something altogether different and tasty, so we also picked up one of those.
