We headed over near Camp Randall Stadium where we would be attending the Coldplay concert. We had some time to kill beforehand so ended up going to Butterbird for an early dinner. With all of the people there for the concert and it being a Saturday evening every dining place was very busy including here. We had to wait in line which didn’t seem to be moving particularly quickly just to place your order which was just as well since the seating in the restaurant was almost completely full so the ordering line served a bit of a metering function (wow, I sound like a big nerd).
Jean and Chloe ordered Wisco Fried Cheese Curds, Golden-Fried Chicken Plate (tenders) and a side of Pull-a-Part Rolls. Andrea and I also order more cheese curds and a Kale Caesar Salad to split and Andrea ordered the Golden-Fried Chicken Plate (2 piece breast & wing) and I had the Butterbird Classic sandwich. I have to say the fried cheese curds here were better than at Settle Down Tavern since they were more lightly battered. Chicken was juicy. Was pretty decent for pre-concert fare!
