More coffee for Andrea (I’m already sufficiently caffeinated), this time a pour over. This was the previous location for Flying Goat Coffee that moved to a location more central in Healdsburg. But this space is much bigger, so they have room to do pour overs which they don’t at the newer Flying Goat location.
I was glad to see that they are still fairly meticulous with their pour over process – pre measured beans (although they didn’t flush the grinder with new beans before grinding different beans), wet the grounds initially (although they could’ve waited just a bit longer), and weren’t too rushed with the pouring, and measured the amount of water they poured by doing it on a scale. It made for a decent cup with a bit of a fruity flavor to it.
