After an afternoon nap, I woke up and figured I should eat some dinner, so we just went down one of the restaurants in our hotel (Sun-n-Sand). Jeff had the rice curd and I had the paneer khada masala and the murgh makhani (butter chicken). Nothing special, but adequate for a convenient quick meal to put something in my stomach. I tried a glass of the Sula Merlot, but was not impressed. Granted, I’ve had a lot of excellent Merlot in my time, but his was a bit too acidic.

Pomegranate seeds. They are where it’s at. Also underutilized for a pop of freshness (though, I suppose to be fair, they are quite seasonal and perhaps hard to come by in other regions)
