Had lunch with our Microsoft account team several of whom were based here in the Dallas area. This was my first chance to meet them all in person. We ate at a restaurant right across the street from our office. I wanted something somewhat light so I went with the Crab Cake salad. I asked the waitperson from where the crab was from (i.e. east coast or west coast), but she didn’t know. I assumed east coast, so assumed it would be blue crab. Dish had a moderately sized salad with some avocado, tomato, corn, apple, and candied pecans all dressed with a champagne vinaigrette. Was a bit too heavily dressed, but otherwise was fine. My dining companions were all skeptical about getting seafood flown in, but it tasted plenty fresh.
