Since I was in Orlando for the conference, I coincidentally had 2 coworkers who lived in Orlando and were willing to come out for lunch. I asked to eat somewhere within walking distance of the conference (it was at Disney properties) and Kevin (who I never previously met in person) picked this place in the Disney Yacht Club Resort and made the reservation. I don’t know about any yachts since there is just a lake here, but that’s what the place is called and was also one of the properties for the conference.
We ordered the Parker House Rolls and Spreads to start which came with three spreads – Citrus Butter, Pub Cheese, and Bacon Jam. They were good (but not great). For starers, I had the Jumbo Lump Crab Cake and Kevin and Hiti had both ordered the Ale & Compass Salad. Crab cake was ok.
For mains, Kevin and I both had the Fish & Chips and Hiti had the Protein Bowl. We were all kind semi-full from our starters. Hiti barely ate any of her Protein Bowl and took it all home. Kevin and I each only ate one of the two pieces of fried fish that we were each given and ate only maybe 5-10 fries. It was definitely too much, esp. since it was all fried and we had starters.
Regardless, it was fantastic to see them both and to be able to dine together.
