We were having lunch with Anna, one of Andrea’s college friends, and as a suprise, her sone Liam joined us. We picked Settle Down Tavern for lunch which was just off the capitol square and also just a few blocks from our hotel. We of course had to get the Cheese Puppies which were cornmeal battered fried cheese curds. I ordered the Good Idea smashburger and Andrea orderd the Classic Chopped Cheese with the Settle sauce on the side. We also ordered some Ghost Fries (they weren’t really that spicy at all) and some of their pickled vegetables which is whatever random thing the chef has been pickling. This time the big piece of yellow was a watermelon rind. It was quite good!
